Bill Quinn PCC, RPF (ret)
With over thirty years as a resource management professional and a senior manager in the provincial government, Bill has transitioned to being an entrepreneur and small business leader. He is focused on growing leaders and organizations using his unique combination of coaching, facilitation and team building skills. A strong believer in developing leaders at all levels and creating learning organizations he delivers interactive, dynamic, fast paced sessions that produce results in a safe environment. Some latest successes have combined leadership development and team building with strategic planning.
A retired professional forester, Bill graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Forestry. He is a Certified Executive Coach graduating Royal Roads University and holds the Professional Certified Coach designation with the International Coaching Federation. He is also a certified facilitator for Strengths Deployment Inventories (SDI) which he has found very useful understanding and valuing team diversity.
Laura Thorsell, MA Leadership
Laura has a Master of Leadership and Organization Development from Royal Roads University. She uses evidence-based approaches to help clients in 3 fundamental areas of any organization: structure design, leadership development, and strategic planning. Overall, Laura helps organizations improve authentic employee engagement so they are more competitive, productive and efficient.
For over 15 years, Laura learned and tested an innovative combination of leadership and marketing techniques to improve employee engagement in public and private sector organizations. She discovered proven methods to motivate people at work. Laura saw the power and potential of authentic engagement and has generated results such as $250,000 yearly cost savings, smaller and more productive teams, and turning non-believers in to believers.
Laura has worked with multiple organizations such as: CFIA, HRSDC, Mead Johnson Nutrition Canada, 2010 Legacies Now (division of 2010 Olympic Games), KidSport Canada, and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals. She coaches clients in Canada and the UK, and is a part time Professor in the School of Business at Algonquin College.
